What is MatchDoku?

MatchDoku is a free browser puzzle that alternates between a match-3 gem board and a classic 9x9 Sudoku. You earn digits by clearing lines of gems, place them under normal Sudoku rules, and try to finish the grid before your match budget runs out.

How do you win or lose?

Accepted Answer

You win when every Sudoku cell is filled legally. You lose if no queued digit can be placed, the puzzle becomes impossible to complete, or you run out of match budget while cells remain empty. Each case is explained on the game-over screen.

Does MatchDoku have a leaderboard?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Completed non-tutorial runs can sync to a global leaderboard with daily, weekly, and all-time views. You choose a display name in settings.

Can I play without installing anything?

Yes. The game runs in modern desktop and mobile browsers and can be installed as a progressive web app (PWA) from supported browsers.
